Hydrebad Blues

Leaping into the Leap year on the 27th of Feb i landed at hydrebad,I was invited as a speaker to talk on Luxury and Lifestyle retailing in India at the Franchisee India exhibition, i was expecting a lower turnout of delegates due to Telengana issue but fortunately the Nizams of Hydrebad did come down .I sincerly appreciate each ones business accumen ,truly India is a land of entrepreuners ,I would definetly cover more on this topic from different parts of the country which you all shall get to read in my book " Entreprising India" yes but you will have to hold on for a while till you can grab a copy of the same .


I called it a day at 8pm after meeting lot of potential clients of our, being a saturday night i felt lets step out in the market and get a feel of it , which i always do where ever i go as thats the best way of knowing your market..observe and just observe .


I landed on Banjara hills I would call the most happening place in hyd which you could corelate it with an

Linking rd of Mum,

Southex of Delhi,

Hazratgunj of Lucknow,

Sec-17 of Chandigarh,

the most prominent and few Highstreets of our country.


After spending a good amount of time i decided to have my dinner but unfortunately I wasnt having nonveg so i had steam dosa rather dosaaa's and sambhar, still if you guys happen to be to hydrebad never miss out on the Biryani at Paradise, and Bawarchi ( its the Janta and my type place )....incase you wish to have a little Royal dinner checkout at Hydrebad Heights , amazing view to enjoy your biryani when you are out there with your payaari saayani.


Hmmm,after a hard day and a lovely night it was time for me to hit the bed and get into my dream world ,though i do it in the day aswell , one of the qualities of a piscean..i finally slipped into my sleep.


I woke up at 5.30 on the 28th and a Sunday as i had to hit to guntur,Guntur another potential town in Andhrapradesh quiet famous on the world map for the tobacoos ,the chillies and the cottons, dont be surprised if you come across a foreigner who doesnt knw hyd but knws Guntur.


After a 4hr drive i reached Guntur ,temprature was as hot as the chillies out there,met the client had a wonderful lunch and hopefully by April Guntur shall look more beautiful with the jewellery from Gitanjali.

After having a sucessful meeting i started my journey back to hyd, with the setting of the sun i was also getting relived from the heat burn. I drove for an hour and half and decided to have an early dinner.Being a Dhabha man i was hunting for good dhabhas on the way,well unlike Northern India its very difficult to spot a Dhabha on the highway in south,so i changed my mind to search for a hotel serving Meals or more prominently known in south as TIFFIN,

Finally i spotted a place ,am sure the owner was a hard core andheraite in every sense when i spotted his sign board which mentioned

that the Meals are Redy..Earlier I had a slight confusion that wether the Reddy are from Andhra ,but this gentlemen not only confirmed it,hes also made sure when ever i am hungry I eat only REDY meals..
